This was the sweetest of days. Drew had contacted me to take these pictures on a different day but then out of nowhere, it snowed! He just couldn't pass this winter wonderland up. So we got ready, I grabbed my camera, picked up some of Kayla's best friends and we were off to surprise her with a proposal. We arrived in Downtown Abilene and told Kayla we were just taking bestie pictures in the snow because why not?! Then Drew showed up to meet Kayla for "lunch". We moved over to the big Christmas tree and took a few pictures, then it was time. Drew got down on one knee and the look on Kayla's face was priceless. She was so surprised and it was such a magical moment and I am so glad I was able to capture it.
Something extra cool for me happened and thanks to Kayla I was featured on The Knot's "How They Asked" page! How freaking cool is that?!?!
